Purpose Driven Leadership

Every leader can describe what they do. Far fewer can clearly articulate why and how they lead in situational specific circumstances. Purpose Driven Leadership is a dynamic, energizing course designed for leaders at every rank and assignment - sworn or civilian, new supervisor or seasoned executive.  This course helps participants discover, refine, and strengthen the purpose that drives their leadership, their decisions, and their impact on others. 

Through engaging discussion, practical frameworks, and real-world application, students explore how purpose shapes resilience, communication, trust, and organizational culture. The course blends personal reflection with actionable leadership tools, giving participants a roadmap for leading with clarity, authenticity, and confidence, not to mention a more purposeful and fulfilling personal life.  Whether you oversee a team, influence a unit, or aspire to lead in the future, this experience equips you to elevate your leadership in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Participants will learn how to:

• Align daily actions with core values, mission, and long-term goals,
• Lead through adversity with composure, confidence, and credibility,
• Strengthen trust and communication across ranks and disciplines,

Students leave this course inspired, grounded, and equipped with practical tools they can immediately apply—on duty, in their organizations, and in their personal lives. Purpose Driven Leadership is more than a class; it’s a catalyst for leaders who want to serve with intention, influence with integrity, and create lasting impact in the communities they protect.

Purpose Driven Leadership is offered in two course formats: "Hosted Classes" where students register individually, and "Contracted Classes" where agencies purchase the course at a discounted rate. For scheduling or inquiries, please contact us.

Students are responsible for obtaining permission and approval from their departments prior to registration if the student plans to attend on-duty and have the agency pay for it. You know the rules. 

If you want to attend, we recommend working with your agency prior to registering for a class. Because if you register for a class, and your department does not approve your time or tuition for any reason, you are still responsible for the terms of the attendance and cancellation policy including any applicable tuition. Again, we know you get it. Purpose Driven Leadership is open to all federal, state, tribal, and local First Responder agencies.  All Deputies, Officers, Corrections, FTO’s, Corporals, Supervisors, Command Staff, Executives, non-sworn professional staff, firefighters and EMS are all welcome and encouraged to attend.  

Even though this course focuses on developing leaders within the mid-management and executive levels, many line level and supervisory leaders found it extremely insightful.
