Crisis Response for Patrol
Have you given your patrol officers and deputies principles and mythologies on how to problem solve, or are they still following the steps? Do they know which tasks should be performed first to help resolve an incident, or do they wait for the Sgt. to arrive and hope it resolves itself? This course gives the participants a tangible framework and algorithm to use without lengthy checklists or procedural documents.
Description
The Crisis Response for Patrol Course trains in-field patrol and detective personnel in decision-making and dynamic response through real-life scenarios. This course is engineered toward line-level personnel, supervisors, and senior leadership. Having a universal understanding of tactical deployment is crucial to working in concert with all staff leading to the common objective.
The course will provide methodology and principles to deployment of personnel during dynamic incidents and other in progress calls for service. This can be applied to simple calls for service, or complex calls such as robberies, active shooter situations, hostage rescue incidents, in-progress burglaries, mental health calls with 3rd party risk, and other in-field tactical operations.
Participants will learn the points of natural stabilization of an incident, when dynamic movements are necessary, and when a slower approach is acceptable.
At the conclusion of the course, participants will have a tangible framework and algorithm to use without lengthy checklists or procedural documents. The techniques taught are proven to support rapid, mission-focused decision making.

Again, we know you get it. We look forward to seeing you in class!
